Our story starts with Josh Mundy, a seasoned estimator who began his career in post-construction cleaning. After years in the grind of bidding, paperwork, and overloaded schedules, Josh saw the toll it takes on contractors trying to do it all.
What began as Josh helping clients with estimates quickly grew into something bigger. As demand exploded, he built a team of skilled estimators and virtual assistants to take on the busywork. That’s when it clicked: BlackTip wasn’t just about estimating anymore — it was about solving the bigger problem.
Today, we help construction companies stay focused on building and winning, while we handle the tasks that slow them down.
